Shampoo Ginger Plants, Tropical Flowers, Great With palm Trees

Shampoo Ginger plants for sale. These are also called Awapuhi plants. This is a very tropical looking plant that produces large red flowers from the base. When the flowers turn red they can be squeezed to get natural shampoo from. You can collect shampoo from the flowers every 2-3 days. Here in Southern California these will die to the ground during winter. Then in the spring they will regrow and send up flowers in late summer into fall. These can be grown anywhere that doesn’t get frost. Check my other listings for other tropical fruit trees, plants and flowers. Follow me to get notified when I post new plants. These are in 1 gallon pots and about three feet tall. I have larger size 3 gallon plants available for $35. They are pictured in the last four pictures. They are 3-4 feet tall and ready to bloom this summer.
