  • After checking out a bunch of Tacomas in person here in NJ and the Tri State area, I learned how bad rusty frame issues are around here, so I decided to search for trucks in California. Came across the exact kind of Tacoma I was looking for (2nd Gen Manual Transmission, 81K miles) listed under Surf Motors in Vista, California. I have never purchased a vehicle from out of state, let alone one I haven't seen in person, but the pictures provided were very detailed and captured the most important parts (engine and undercarriage). I contacted Surf Motors and Eduardo promptly sent me more pictures and even put the truck up on a lift so he could send multiple detailed videos of the undercarriage, interior, exterior, as well as of it being driven in 2wd, 4wd, and all gears. Eduardo was great at communicating and answering my follow up questions and sent me videos of the truck being loaded for its voyage to NJ. I just had my mechanic give it a full check up and he stated how lucky I was to find such a Great, Clean truck with no issues. I would 100% recommend Surf Motors as a trustworthy dealership with great vehicles and great people running the place!   • I can’t say enough good things about Surf Motors. These guys are awesome and truly take care of their customers. They helped me out before with my Toyota Camry, and the experience was so good that I came back when it was time to upgrade. I ended up trading in that same Camry and getting into my first Tesla, a 2019, and thanks to Eddie’s intelligent thinking and guidance, we were even able to upgrade again to a 2023 Tesla.
