It has been cared for, serviced on time, and it cleans up extremely well inside and out. The only issue is the radiator cooling fan needs to be replaced due to a short in the fan wiring harness. This only affects the car in hotter conditions or stop-and-go traffic when airflow is low and the fan should kick in. On the highway or in cooler temps it drives normally. This is a straightforward fix—a great deal for a mechanic or DIY buyer, or family looking to have all the value of this beautiful car but all the savings built in to taking on one mechanical fix. Volvo quoted $1,800–$2,000 for the job, but the part is much cheaper aftermarket if you do it yourself. Once the fan assembly is replaced, this XC60 goes right back to being an excellent, low-mile premium SUV. 💰 Price KBB private party value for this model in “Fair” mechanical condition is $4,500–$6,700.
