This pipe in fact has an outside diameter of approximately 12.75". It is designed to fit snugly inside of a 12" (nominal size) socket or "slip" fitting. We recommend this pipe be used with other Schedule 40 PVC fittings and pipe, DWV PVC fittings, or Class 125 PVC fittings. This pipe is also compatible with 12" Schedule 80 PVC flanges if a flange connection is required. For proper installation, this pipe should be installed using PVC solvent cement and primer. We generally recommend a heavier body, slower setting cement for pipe of this size. Available now in 5 foot sections for easy shipping via UPS.
