The uppers have some scuffs and creasing, with cracking and peeling of the thin synthetic material that was meant to give a shiny surface to the upper padded collars, and which has been detailed in photos. This is not at any fit or functional consequence to the boots. The interior lining at rear of heels exhibits wear. Two, 2-inch strips of moleskin patch (Amazon or drug store available) can restore this area better than new. Interior fabric pilling is present. For individuals with dog allergies, there are very nominal signs of dog hair. The exterior features of these boots (full grain leather, rubber soles, laces, eyelets, speed-hooks) are in very good shape - see photos. The boots are structurally solid.
