Original Cold War-era civil defense map from January 1955. Printed by the St. Louis Office of Civil Defense as part of the “Escape from the H-Bomb” campaign. It shows the evacuation zones, escape routes, and fallout safety areas for St. Louis residents back when people were being told how to survive an atomic attack. Great piece of local history and Cold War memorabilia; in great shape for 70 years old.
