Original Haywood -Wakefield Wood- Rattan firewood/ Magazine Holder This a sturdy and well made magazine holder or wood rack made by HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD, an iconic American company building furniture since 1826. This is a numbered piece of 9333 as shown on the label on the bottom which reads “Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Rattan Company, Chicago.” It is rare to find this paper label; the newer pieces of furniture have the recognizable wood-burned Eagle insignia. This piece also has the Heywood-Wakefield brass label/placard on the base (see photo). It’s a timeless designed piece made with a solid wood frame with woven rattan on the sides and wrapped on the handle, top and legs. This rack does show its age, which we believe adds authenticity and character to the piece. 20ʺW × 14ʺD × 17ʺH
